Thinking of You
>> Monday, April 1, 2024
I realized while going through my stamps that I did not have a stamp that just said Thinking of You. Well that just gets me going through all of my stamps to say how can I make a card with this sentiment if I don't have just that sentiment. I know, look at all of my sentiments and see if there is another I can use and yes, indeed I found one.
For my card:
- I used a scrap watercolor paper and sponged 2 different blue distress oxide inks with the dark ink at the bottom.
- Next, I spritzed water over the panel to get the rain effect.
- I then die cut an umbrella and some clouds to add to the panel.
- I found with the THINKING OF YOU AT CHRISTMAS GREETING - 183D the perfect font and sentiment. I heat embossed just the Thinking of You in white on black card stock and popped it up on dimensionals.
If you don't have this THINKING OF YOU AT CHRISTMAS GREETING - 183D in your collection, I encourage you to look for it in the DRS Designs shop because this can be used year-round for a Thinking of You card.
Thank you for stopping by to check out my card.

What a fun card Lisa! Your beautiful blue rain splattered background is incredibly eye catching! I also love finding a 2nd use for my stamps like you did here!
Beautiful card, Lisa. Love that you did some stamp surgery to get that lovely sentiment - it works perfectly with your background and fun umbrella. Such a great card! Hugz
Aw, super cute! Love your umbrella and rain bg. Beatiful card!
