Scribbling and Splashing (Alcohol Involved)

>> Wednesday, December 8, 2021

Hello Crafty Friends!

I love my time with my Grandsons.  This week, I got to "play cards" with all three of them.  We all took some Yupo paper, scribbed all over the paper with alcohol markers, splashed (literally) on some rubbing  alcohol, and let the magic begin! They loved it and we laughed a lot.  My kichen counter was a mess. This week, I am sharing my cards.

The only alcohol was in our markers and our rubbing alcohol splashes - lol.

On this  first card, I added a bit of gold Stickles and the new Merriest Wishes Greeting. I love this new greeting - it is happy and fun.

For the other half of my Yupo panel, I changed the card base to green and added the Giant Poinsettia covered in diamond Stickles.

Do you ever make cards with your family?  I highly recommend this technique as the visual patterns that form when the alcohol hits are so exciting or young ones (in age or heart).

Hugz,

Nancy

Wow, those backgrounds are just beautiful and so festive in the traditional red and green colors! Love the glittery poinsettia too!
