Beware!

>> Thursday, September 2, 2021

Good morning!

Here is a scary card ( Of course I scare easily!! LOL!)

DRS Design Stamps: Count Porkula, Beware Crow, Silhouette Graveyard and

Hanging Sign Post.

The blood die is from I.O. and the tree oval from Memory Box.

I used brads for the corner adornments.  I used a web embossing folder on the background after inking with Sprays.

The blood has Black Diamond Stickles on it...I really like the look it gave.

Porkula was stamped separately and fussy cut as well as the signs.

I stamped the Crow Beware first, masked then stamped the hanging sign and fussy cut.

Isn't it typical that a kid would be venturing into a graveyard on Halloween...
Or any night for that matter.  Kids like to scare themselves!

My next card uses the ATC sized Halloween "poster"(that is what it reminds me of).
I stamped it on a background I had actually made for something else, it's spray inks with kosher salt sprinkled on then let dry.  The back panel is another piece of that background.

My ribbon is actually black rick-rack bought from a fabric store.
To finish this card I used black pearls.

Thanks for visiting today!

Fun colors on both cards, Robin. I need to use more color!

Count Porkula looks great in this spooky scene and the texture and fun details make it extra special.

The lack rick-rack adds to the spooky feel on the second. That new image reminds me of a poster too.

Great cards! Hugz

That is a scary card Robin!! I would totally freak out if I saw a pig out trick or treating :)
These are both wonderful cards! I'm totally blown away with your Beware Sign post - not only does it fit perfectly, but that you masked it and lined it up perfectly!!!

All that said, I really LOVE your second card! Your background paper is awesome and I love the rick-rack that looks a bit like a dying tree. Awesome!!

Your colors are always spectacular! I love the vibrancy of both cards and that glittery dripping goo on the first one, along with the creative use of the beware and the sign post is amazing! Well done!

Robin I just adore that first halloween card with the Count Porcula image. Great BG and fantastic die cuts and layers. The beware sign is just perfect with it too.

The second card is fantastic with the colors too.

Two super fun cards.
