Merry Birthday Wishes

Hello Crafty Friends.
A quick watercolor card again. I saw THIS fun card by Gerry at Splitcoaststampers.com, and it inspired me to paint this hat. This looks like a Christmas card, but I actually want to give it to my husband for his pre-Christmas birthday card. To make it more festive, I painted lots of dots and added in a bit of snow. The fur was made using a fan brush which made it super easy.
My favorite part of this card is the greeting. I stamped the Merriest Wishes Greeting (2021 stamp still available in the store). When I was cutting it, the paper slipped a bit and it came out crooked. I actually loved the shape and used it as is. I think it gives it a more festive look.
I have two more Christmastime Birthday cards to go and about 5 last minute Christmas cards to make. Hope you are done with most your holiday preparation and not last minute like me - I don't even have my tree up yet and we are doing a dirty Santa party tonight with the Grandkids!

Oh my gosh Nancy, your hubby is going to absolutely love this card / image. I am blown away. One of my oldest stamps is a Santa hat and I will never tire of it and this really looks like that stamp blown up. I am in awe of your talent and that sentiment is the perfect addition to it too. Wowza what an incredible job!!!
Talk about fabulous! This is amazing, not only the fact that you chose just part of a Santa hat but your painting is wonderful! I love it!
