The Good or The Bad and Ugly

>> Thursday, November 4, 2021

 Good morning!

Hey, I never ever thought that any Christmas sweater was ugly but I guess some people do so now it is a "thing"...There are even ugly Christmas sweater parties!!  My grandson went out a few years ago thrift store hunting for the ugliest Christmas sweater he could find!  There was a prize for such a thing!!

Well, I still love Christmas sweaters so today I have 2 different ones for you, 1 glitzy and one very ugly indeed!

This first card I stamped the sweater with 1 of the included designs on glitter paper using turquoise color VersaFine Claire, I used a heat gun on it a little and it dried nicely.  I fussy cut the sweater and mounted it on turquoise then matted with turquoise glitter paper.

The stitchery background is a background die from Pink Fresh.

The sentiment is DRS: Glittering Twinkling  I also added a few sequins and glitter glue.

Hey, nothing glittery can be all that bad right?

My next card has the Ugly Christmas Sweater Design in all
it's un-glory!
Well, not all!  There are 2 other designs you can use as well, a candy cane and a
gingerbread man cookie.
I also used the new Ugly Sweater Christmas Greeting on this one.

You probably noticed that I used the same sketch design for both cards,
I just turned 1 upside down (let's say it is the ugly sweater one)!!

It was really fun making these sweaters today and I hope you were inspired
to make your own Christmas sweater cards!
Go get crafty!

Super fun cards, Robin. Love your sweaters and the backgrounds! I also love how you flipped the sketch and made them look so different. I am with you - any Christmas sweater is great and can't really be ugly. Hugz

I love these Robin! Would you think less of me if I admit that I would wear both of these? I also love the setup, but I'm amazed at how different they both look based on the colors and the change of greeting :)

I LOVE both sweaters! The blue card with all the glitter and choice of greeting is so perfect! And I really like how you switched up the layout on the second, along with making it in the traditional red and green Christmas colors! Super cute!

Great layout for both your sweaters. The soft blue and white is really eye catching for me as I love blue and white cards and the traditional red and green is perfect too. Both cards are so beautiful Robin.
