Valentine Hearts & Dots

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Valentine's Day isn't too far off, so I have a cheerful hearts & dots card today. After I stamped & colored in the cute new Valentine Drop Hearts, I used a pair of angled dies to cut the bottom. For the bottom section, I used a rainbow pad for the dots, plus a little red on the left side. The pinks to purples rainbow pad I used is definitely one of the oldest I have. And I'm always surprised that it still works so well after all these years (you can see it in the Copics picture below).
Since the whole look reminded me of a decorated envelope, so I added the fussy cut heart as nod to an envelope seal. I used the same Copics I used on the hearts, to color the lacy strip under the white edge.
Here's the inside. There greeting was double stamped..once w/ black & again w/ the rainbow pad.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Great sketch, super colored dots, and fab use of that new image, Julie. This is sooooo cute and such a great idea. Lovely Valentine. Hugz
This card is super cheerful and I love the Ombre polka dots! Love the white, which just makes the colors pop! Great card :)
Oh...my....goodness Julie! I absolutely LOVE this card! I've always loved a background on the bottom and focal image on top card, but your angle has taken it to a whole new level! Definitely gives it an envelope vibe and accenting that with the heart is perfect!
Absolutely beautiful Valentine Julie! The layout is fabulous on this! Wow!
Terrific layout and layers on your card Julie. I love the multi colored panel and the hearts to match. Nicely done.
This is so sweet and beautiful! Love the dot bg on the bottom and your tiny border with the heart "seal".
