Retirement Beach

Happy Friday!

I hope your week has gone well! It's been pretty chilly here the last. few weeks, so sitting on a beach somewhere sounds pretty good. When I think of people retiring, I always think of folks packing up & moving to FL. So that's kind of the direction I went w/ my card today.

For my card, I die cut the long rectangle, using my resizing technique to make a regular rectangle into a longer, narrow one. On a separate piece, I stamped part of the palm trees, masked them, the water & a circle for the sun, then sponged in the sky. I reversed the mask & sponged in the water. The little sailboat was stamped on top (in order to have the seagulls), but the actual image was stamped on a piece of white & fussy cut. I cut around the top of one palm tree to lift it above the frame, then stamped the chair & greeting on the frame.

Here's the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
paper: Staples 110# white
ink:  Memento tuxedo black, Distress inks, tumbled glass, salty ocean, squeezed lemonade, dried marigold (Kaleidacolor Riviera used on inside)
accessories: Rubbernecker Rectangle Stitch die, Double Stitch Rectangle die, Copic Sketch Markers
