Love and Laughter

Good morning!
This cabin and trees is a Cottage Cutz die.
I used the Mountain & Treeline 2 in 1 Scene set
and Wishing You Love & Laughter stamps
from DRS Designs.
I used a torn paper towel to make the sky first, sponging
blue upward then moving the piece over and up to sponge
more blue. I then stamped the mountains and made
a couple of mountains where the sky was white (since it looked
like mountains anyway).
I then made the cabin and die cut the trees in green and in white.
I used some Snow Pen and glitter on the roof and mountain tops.
I used Stickles on the trees and part of the roof.
My next card uses DRS Designs: Stonewall and Gate and Just moved key.
The die is an old one from Spellbinders when they first came out with the nesting rectangles.
They are long and skinny...perfect for this card.
I used some tiny flower dies with Prills in the centers and 1 tiny bird die on the gate post.
These new stamps are perfect for your friend with a new house or for the move you are making
yourself. (I am so hoping to do that last one myself, the sooner the better)!
Thanks for visiting!
Robin

Wow, Robin! These are soooooo cool! I love that mountain cottage in the snowy mountains! So perfect for that new sentiment. Your slimline card is super cool too. These would be perfect for moving friends!!!! Beautiful cards. Hugz
Wow Robin, that die cut cottage is beautiful & perfect for the new greeting! I really like the cute mountain scene you created for the cottage. Makes me want to move there! Your second card is so cute too. Those tiny flowers in fron of the stone fence just make me smile. Wonderful cards!
Squeeee! That house is soooo charming! I love the snowy details, along with your tip about using a paper towel to sponge on the sky...I just adore the shape of the second card too! Wow! Big love for your gorgeous coloring on this stone gate :)
I love both these new home cards Robin! The cabin reminds me of my husband's aunt and uncles new home. They moved to Colorado and have a couple of great mountains they can hike right out their back door. The summer one is perfect for sending when everyone is moving during the summer while kids are out of school. Both are wonderful!
These are terrific, Robin! Love your snowy cabin in the mountains...reminds of our house the first 2 weeks we were here. Got buried under 10" of snow! The rock wall card is wonderful. Love the little blue bird & flowers in front.
