Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! And I hope your Thanksgiving was lovely & tasty. With all the reports of people moving (since they're working remotely now), these new images will be perfect for those moving to new digs.
My card is pretty easy..I took a large paint chip, cut it apart to remove the white lines, then put it back together. Paint chips tend to go hand in hand w/ moving. Even in a new home, people tend to want to paint the walls a color they love. The houses/neighborhood die was cut out of white & attached on top. I already had the card front w/ the large window cut out, so it worked out perfectly. I stamped the key onto white & used a green Copic to color the oval. For the key, I colored around the edges w/ a silver gel pen then used a water brush to drag the color into the key. If you use water on most gel pen inks, it will act like a water color & move. It was fussy cut & added on top.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Supplies:
paper: Staples 110# white, paint chip, (sm piece of green for inside)
ink: Memento tuxedo black

Julie, this die cut house is so cute & perfect for the new key image. I like the shades of green too. Thanks for the tip on the gel pens. I didn’t know that!
What a gorgeous die to go with the new house key stamp! I love the beautiful greens in the bg too!
such a great way to use that die ... absolutely lovely
Totally fab dies and awesome colors, Julie. I love the idea of using a paint chip as the background for a new home card. Super way to use the key image too (inside and out). Super pretty and well done! Hugz
The green behind the die cut is stunning and makes for a gorgeous card! It is perfect paired up with that new key stamp!
Super cute die cut and love the wonderful paint chips for the background colors Julie.
