Sunflower Thanksgiving

 Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! We've had some beautiful fall weather the last few days. Cool, dry & sunny. Well..until Thursday..now we're getting rain from the remnants of Beta. It's really strange that if a tropical system hits anywhere in the Gulf of Mexico, we always get rain. The south part of Georgia isn't really getting any. It skips right over that & into the far north part of the state. Sigh...

For my card today, I stamped the sunflower basket onto kraft & colored it in w/ Prismacolor pencils. I edged it & added a few highlights w/ a white Posca pen. On the largest bg, I stamped the tree slice w/ the cocoa ink, sponged inside w/ Distress inks, then stamped it w/ the splatter bg. The greeting was split on a curvy cut kraft piece that was also edged in white.
Here's the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend!

Very different, creative, and artsy, Julie. Love how you used the tree ring and the while paint highlights are perfect on the flowers. Wonderfully done and it inspires me! Hugz

This is so pretty, Julie. The tree ring makes a great background for the sunflowers. I like that you stamped & colored them on kraft CS. Nice card design too!

What a great idea using kraft Julie! And offsetting it with the white is just so eye catching!
