Letting the Sentiments Do the Talking

>> Wednesday, August 26, 2020

MOJO is a funny thing.  Lately mine comes and goes and I find that I need a challenge to get it to show up at all.  This first card was for a watercolor challenge at Splitocoaststampers.com.  The challenge was to paint some white daisies which stressed me out for awhile.  I put the challenge off for a week then was inspired by another challenge to do them both.   So I watercolored the daisies and ran them though an embossing folder.  I also ran my On My Mind Greeting through the embossing folder as well.

On this card, I inked up a stencil from REDlead, spritzed with water and then stamped on my favorite Christmas stamp - Large Script Merry Christmas. This greeting is the perfect size to make a statement!

This one was done for a Dare to Get Dirty Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com.

Hope your MOJO is in full force and you are staying safe.

Hugz,

Nancy

Such pretty cards, Nancy. Your daisies are lovely! I’m impressed with them, don’t think I could paint them free hand! I agree with you on the Christmas greeting! It’s one of my favorites too and you used it beautifully!

I love your first card with the quilted embossing all over the whole thing. Your flowers are beautiful, the whole card is beautiful!
On your second card I think I see an angel in the void of color!! Very cool!
