Happy Pink Ocean Thoughts

>> Wednesday, May 20, 2020

Hello crafty friends.

My oldest daughter went to the beach this past weekend, and I was a bit jealous.  I decided to bring a bit of the ocean to my crafting since I had the beach on my mind.

I am loving the new 3-in-1 Ocean Floor image, and I used all three of the images on it to make this wreath.  I used pinks because the card was inspired by a wreath of tulips (you can see them HERE).

I didn't feel like coloring so I made a couple of ink/spray/smash pages using different pink Distress and Distress Oxide inks.  Then I used the stamp until I had totally filled up a paper with the images.  I fussy cut them and shaped them around a ring I cut out.  I cut out part of the Cheerful Smiles Get Well Greeting for the banner.  I finished it off with a few gems.

I had a stencil laying around so inked it up, misted it with water and slapped it on my journaling bible.  Then I added some of my left-over pieces.  Quick and easy way to journal Psalms 144.
