In Remembrance

Good morning!

This is a special card in memory of my

dear dad.  He serviced in the Cavalry before WWII

and then joined the Navy when the war started.

DRS Designs has come out with the perfect stamps

for a memorial card like this.

DRS Designs stamps used: Patriotic Bunting, & Star Streamers.

The sentiment here was generated on the computer. You can also use Let Freedom ring as shown on the online store.

I used a mask and a stamp aligner to place the Bunting

and streamers.

Inside Navy Seal 

My second card is done using

DRS stamps: Silhouette Soldiers, USA Thanks to Our Brave, Interlocking Star Background

and Stars and Stripes Border

I used the Misti to make sure my border and silhouette images

were really solid.  The star background was done using blues and reds leaving

room for the USA sentiment at the top.  

My bottom border was cut after stamping then added to make the clean straight edge.
