 Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! After a kind of cold start this week, we finally are warming up a bit.  We had several nights of freezing temps & highs only in the 50's, which is unusual for early May. I think we're supposed to be in the low 70's today, so maybe I can drag my tropical plants back outside (again). Yeah, that gets a little old, going back & forth..especially w/ the really big ones.

Speaking of back & forth, I have a card today w/ most of the fish going one way & the one fish going the other. Doesn't seem to bother him...he's smiling! I think that's probably me, lol. My mom always said I have a mind of my own & growing up, in order to get me to do something, she had to make me think it was my idea. Anyway, for my scene, I stamped the background fish w/ teal ink onto some turquoise paper that had been spritzed w/ a little bleach. I added just a touch of color to the fish. The main character was was stamped on white & fussy cut. I added a little stickles to him & to the stamped bubbles. The porthole was die cut (yay! I found a die that fit!).  On the teal bg, I embossed it w/ a wave folder & some of it cracked, revealing the white core. So I just went w/ it & sanded off some of the high points to reveal the white.
The greeting was split w/ half on the front & the rest inside. Below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
paper: Staples 110# white, teal, turquoise
ink: Memento tuxedo black, teal zeal

Beautiful monochromatic teal card, Julie. The embossing looks fabulous. I like how the paper cracked to reveal the white core. Great details & layout.

I love that embossed bg Julie! It looks so good with the porthole and fish!
You always color everything so beautifully too! Love it!

Wow. I studied this a lot. Using bleach on the turquoise paper, sanding that ef layer, and finding a die that fit the porthole are all genius steps, Julie. Such a great card and it looks fabulous. Love it!!!!
