Fairy Best Wish!

>> Thursday, April 23, 2020

Good morning!
Another fairy card today, this time I've used a new
die from Memory Box to accent my Fairy with Globe
The die includes the frame and inner frame so
it was a very easy card to make.
It came with a stencil so I used it to give a bit of color to the leaves and flowers.
I used part of a word die from Cheery Lynn.
Each flower center has a little pearl for a center.

My second card is the fairy sitting in a mushroom garden
wishing a Fairy Happy Birthday to her
favorite friend/daughter/niece/favorite little girl!
I wrote "Have a fairy" on top of the Happy Birthday for the sign.
There was a bit of masking to do but I love the way
masking puts her in the middle of a bunch of mushrooms
I masked everything especially at the top before
sponging the sky.
I colored everything with Copic Markers before sponging the sky,
I don't like to use my markers on top of other "dye" inks just because
it dirties them up and pollutes the tips (in my opinion anyway)
Sometimes I will use them in conjunction with colored pencils though.
The clouds are done with torn paper towel and Distress Inks sponged on.
The little butterflies are from a triple butterfly punch, I used just the small ones.
Thanks for visiting today!

These are such pretty cards, Robin. I really like that memory box die on the first card. It really draws your eye to your beautifully colored fairy. The sky on the second card is gorgeous! Love those colors!

The pinks and purples you chose for the cards today are so pretty! That die on the first card is so cool and I love all the sweet flowers. And I have to give a big thumbs up for your creative getting on the sign on the second one! Great job as always:)
PS- I just wanted to extend my condolences on the passing of your MIL. I will keep you and your family in my prayers for sure. God bless you all.

These are soooooo lovely, Robin. What a great die on the first card and the colors are so soft and pretty. She looks great flying and reaching down or sitting on a mushroom when you use her! Fab sky and scene on the second. I totally love them both. So sorry for your loss as Karin mentioned. Giant hugz to you!
