Sea Grass Comfort

>> Wednesday, March 11, 2020

I got to see the very edge of the sea this weekend on my way to a funeral.  It was super windy and the sea grass was blowing.

It made me think of Psalms and Psalm 46 in particular - especially with the Corona Virus spreading and the loss of my husband's last remaining Uncle (his very favorite too).  So when I got home, I got out my favorite DRS stamp:  Sea Grass and stamped it all over the bottom of my journal page.

I stamped it in distress inks: linen, tea stain and vintage photo and then sponged in some grounding in greens and browns.  I also sponged in some CTMH sea glass around a die cut star.  Super easy page, but very comforting.

Hope your week is going well.

Hugz,

Nancy

I'm so sorry to hear that your husband lost his favorite uncle - our sympathies are with both of you.

Your Bible page is beautiful Nancy! Such a simple image and the sponging really make this page unforgettable.
