Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! In my opinion, it's never too early to make Christmas cards. I love making them all year long. And this year when Summer refuses to let go, I can add snow on my cards & think cool thoughts. I also needed a Christmas card for the Splitcoast Fan Club Christmas Challenge on Monday, so ssssshhhh....let's just keep this under our hats for the weekend.
My card is all on one layer, so there was a little masking going on. I started by stamping & coloring Leonard, then I masked him & stamped the pine bough to resemble a little Charlie Brown Christmas tree & added a few ornaments. I die cut the window then used a reverse mask of it to stamp the North Pole & reindeer. The snow bg was stamped w/ the tumbled glass. I thought it needed something so I stamped part of the light string on the top of the window then added stickles to the lightbulbs & snowflakes. I did a little cutting around the top of Leonard in order to insert the corner of the window frame underneath him.
Here's the inside & also the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

What a fantastic scene Julie! I can't imagine a better one than Santa's reindeer outside eating the "special" feed for flying and Santa inside checking his list for the final time! I love the little "Charlie Brown" tree behind him and the Christmas lights on the window!! You thought of everything! That would make a great stamp set wouldn't it? Wow, I want one!
Totally brilliant Christmas scene. I don't have that Leonard image but I want it!!! So fun and your tree is so smart too. Beautiful and whimsical and so cool! Hugz to you, Julie.
What an impressive scene Julie! The Charlie Brown tree and the 2nd scene outside the window are just adorable! Love the finishing touch of the lights on the window and your incredible coloring!!
