Christmas in July

Good morning!
Welcome to an all time favorite for a lot of people and that is Christmas in July.
Maybe the Aussie's started this since it is cold down under when we are hot as blazes!
For this card I've use Three Wisemen Peace
The background was done with Pearlescent Alcohol Inks
which really has a nice silvery shimmer to it.
I used the Misti to stamp the black ink several times before embossing with clear. I came back in with the star and embossed it with gold then added some gold Stickles to the center.
I stamped the Peace On Earth on another piece
of background paper and embossed with gold then die cut with
a die from Taylored Expressions.

My next card features Heart Swag Snowman and
I used a Merry Christmas die from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
I used white paint splatter for snow and dots of white
paint on his scarf.
I used white Liquid Applique on the fur of his hat.

Well this makes me want to get started on some Christmas cards! I usually have a couple dozen made by now & I don't think I have any done! Yikes!, thanks for the inspiration, Robin!
These are both lovely. I really like the background on the first one. The snowman looks adorable next to those tall trees. Love the fluff you added to his hat. So cute!

Color me jealous that you've begun making Christmas cards, let alone ones as beautiful as this! Love the colors on the wisemen card and your snowman is just so sweet! The snowy touches are just perfect!
