Easter Blessings

Good morning!
Happy almost Easter!
My first card features the 3 Wooden Crosses and is done on a background
of Distress Oxide Inks. The crosses and foreground are fussy cut and popped up
on the background at the tops and glued at the bottom.
The sentiment, Easter Blessings was stamped below using
a stamp aligner.
This funny guy is the Silly Bird with a vest that is striped this time using
the Large Original Plaid and the sentiment is a combo of Extra Tweet Day
and Easter Daffodil Oval. I also used the Jelly Bean Jumble Background
under the sentiment and lightly colored.
My background is brayered cross-hatch style using Kaleidacolor Bouquet (Rainbow
Dye Ink)
I used a similar sketch for both cards.
I hope you got some inspiration for making your Easter cards!
Have a great weekend!

These are wonderful, Robin. That bg on the first is amazing and totally makes the crosses pop. BEAUTIFULLY DONE! The bird card is adorable and fun. Super ideas. Hugz
I really like the backgrounds on both of these cards, Robin. As Nancy said th crosses really stand out on that background. The Bayer's look on the second one is perfect for your dressed up birdie!
Such beautiful, colorful bgs, Robin! It almost looks like the sky is on fire for your Easter card. And that silly bird sure has some wonderful outfits, lol. I believe he's the best dressed bird I've ever seen.
It always amazes me how a setup can look so totally different from itself and your 2 cards are a perfect example! I have to admit I'm a bit partial to your silly bird card - his striped vest and fedora just crack me up, and I love that colorful almost plaid in the background!!
These bright cards are just so pretty! I love the sky behind the crosses and your cute birdie has a bigger wardrobe than I do...lol! Too cute!
