Simple Valentine

Welcome!
As I sat myself down to stamp recently I challenged myself to make the quickest card I could. I've heard of 10 minute cards but I don't think I've ever actually made the time limit so I thought I'd try again! Sadly, after finishing this card I forgot to check the time so I can't be sure I made it but I will say this was the fastest card I've made in a long, long time!
I started by stamping our Triple Silhouette Hearts in the center of my card using red ink. Since I had previously cut my stamp into thirds it was easy to remove the 2 outside hearts and just stamped the largest heart again on each side. I added our One Line Valentine greeting underneath in black ink and did a little sponging with pink ink. I added the black border by just tapping the edges on a black stamp pad and dug out some jewels while that dried. Once my 3 jewels were in place I mounted it to a folded red card. Done! I'm pretty sure I made the 10 minute mark, but certainly go over 11.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Sue

I love a CAS card of any variety and this just super! The perfectly placed gems are a great embellishment for a Valentine's day card too :)
So sweet and quick and easy to do...everyone's favorite thing! Love the sponging around the edge!
Super cute as well as quick! I can never make a quick cute card. I'm super slow! This is adorable, Sue. The gems are the perfect embellishments!
