Birthday Star Wishes

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Wow..it's the last day of November! That month sure went fast! It's been really cold here this past week. Lows in the teens & highs only in the upper 30's. Yep..that fall I was waiting for just didn't happen. We skipped it & went straight into winter.
Recently I needed a birthday card and this is what I came up with. At first all that empty white space made me a little nervous, but it's growing on me. Originally I the Wishes die cut was going to stay white & the Splatter, Interlocking Star & Starry Bg would be in color behind it, But I didn't like it, so I colored the die cut & put it back into the bottom of the piece I cut it from & added it on top of the colorful splatter. Then I stamped the word Birthday above it. I added a few die cut stars just to use up a little of the empty space.
Here's a look at the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Supplies:
paper: Staples 110# white
ink: Memento tuxedo black, Kaliedacolor bouquet

Super fun and festive - everything a birthday card should be, Julie. Love it! Great designing, of course. Hugz
Great birthday card, Julie. Love the bright, cheerful colors & the big die cut wishes!
What a wonderful and unique card Julie! I personally LOVE all the white with the couple of stars and the blue wishes added back into the die cut is just such a clever idea! Your rainbow of stars and splatter came out fabulous - mine would be a big brown mush :)
This is so pretty! I love the design of the card and the colorful background you made. Super card that's so celebratory looking!
Ooh, I love the rainbow star bg you created and the wish cut out is amazing! Love how you did this card!
