Give Thanks

Happy Monday Everyone. Hope you had a great weekend! DRS Designs is about to release some new Fall/Thanksgiving images that I think you are going to love. My card today features a couple of the new images.

I created the background for this card by sponging some TH Distress Oxide inks in fall colors onto watercolor CS and then added some water drops. I set the panel aside to dry before stamping the new 4 in 1 Harvest Designs (758D) with matching inks onto the background. The new Give Thanks Pumpkin Stack image (777H) was stamped with Memento Black ink onto white CS, colored with Copics, die cut and added to the panel after the orange ribbon. To finish it off I added some Nuvo orange drops to the background as well as some clear Nuvo drops to the centers of the sunflowers on the main image.

My second card is super simple and uses the new Thanks be to God greeting (800C). The large acorn was die cut using the October Small die of the month from Spellbinders. After die cutting, I stamped the greeting with Versafine Onyx ink, sponged on some brown distress ink and then added VersaMark ink all over both parts of the die cut and heat embossed with clear EP. The cream panel was embossed with a CB Pumpkin Swirl folder and attached to the brown layer. Super quick and easy.
