Summer Flip Flops

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! And I hope you had a great July 4th holiday! I'll tell you, my second favorite footwear (right behind boots) is flip flops. I do love me some fancy flip flops. And I'm thinking I would love some w/ these cute beach scenes on them.

I got the idea for this card from this purse I saw that was just so fun. Isn't it cute? It would definitely be a perfect match for my island flips flops.
I stamped parts of various island & beach scenes, colored them then used 2 sizes of flip flop dies to cut them out. After I made the raspberry colored stripe band, I used leftovers of it to make the sandal straps. The bg of the kraft piece was stamped w/ a splatter image using gathered twig oxide ink to give it a beach sand look.

Here's a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used. I like having the insides go with the outsides & the ink is still light enough that writing right over it is not a problem.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Supplies:
paper: Staples 110# white, kraft
ink:  Memento tuxedo black, Distress oxide inks picked raspberry, gathered twigs
accessories: Copic markers, ODBD pierced rectangles & flip flop dies, Cuttlebug charm tag dies, metallic crochet thread, hemp twine. sequins
