Daily Thread

Fall has arrived in Georgia, with cool night and mild days. It's my favorite time of the year. I love sleeping under a quilt the was made by my mother and her sisters, it so warm and comforting. There really is nothing like a homemade quilt.

For my card today I used the new Designer Quilt Square  from DRS designs. I stamped it three times with black ink and colored it with Copic markers then fussy cut. These were layered onto a dark eggplant paper.

I stamped the Daily Thread Greeting  and added some paper piercing and pen stitching. The background was embossed in a embossing folder.
