A Warm Quilt

>> Saturday, October 18, 2014

Hello friends!! What a great fall day! Love this cooler weather, don't you?
DRS stamps: Designer quilt square 166D, A Good Friend 169G
I used a stamp aligner to stamp nine Designer Quilt Squares on white cardstock then used a paper piercer and ruler to pierce all the holes you see thread in.  I used embroidery floss to sew around the edges and then to make all those French knots.  Next, I die cut this pretty purple oval shaped panel and foam taped it to the quilt.  I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of white and sponged some orange Brilliance on before removing the die.  The ribbon for my bow is actually where I got my inspiration for the colors of my quilt..  Hope you like it!
I'm off to teach a class today at a local stamp store and my images...3 DRS Christmas stamps!! I think the ladies are going to love them and love coloring them too!!
Well, I have to get movin along so I'll good bye till next time and happy trails to you...Hahaha! I just had to say that, sorry!
