Welcome!

We're going Challenge crazy this month! And we'd love for you to join us!

Wouldn't you like to win a $20.00 shopping spree at drsdesigns.com ?? It's simple! Click here to jump right on over to the "Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge" (now till Nov 8th) to get the details on how you can have a chance at winning!
Even though I don't have a chance, I still like to play along, so here's the card I made ~

Sadly, I wasn't paying enough attention to details and I got my layers backwards :( The background should have been stamped on the base card, not the corner triangles. Even though it's not quite right, I'm still happy how this card turned out! It was so easy too! I stamped my blue triangles with our Vicki's Versatile Background stamp using versamark ink and layered them on kraft. I stamped our Giga Scallop Oval on ivory cs using blue ink. After stamping our New Fall Leaf with Acorn in the center, I colored and punched it out using a giga scallop oval punch. I sponged a little orange ink around the edges and tied on some fine gold wire. My final step was to adhere it all to a folded plum card.

Want to double your chances of winning? Pop on over to the Card Pattern Sketch Blog #88! Not only will you find out how to enter for a chance at winning a $10.00 shopping spree (hurry, you only have till the 5th!), you'll see some terrific cards using this weeks sketch, here's what I came up with~

This was a bit more time consuming than normal for me :) Our new Autumn Wreath can be alot to color, but I think the results are well worth it! The crazy part was cutting it out - what was I thinking??? After I finished with the wreath, the rest was simple! I stamped our Small Silhouette Leaf down the left side using versamark ink and added some bling to the bottom right, thus fulfilling my challenge requirements, (and then I added a little more bling to my leaves and to a couple of flowers in the wreath :) The plum layer still wasn't quite right, so I sponged some brown around the edges I adhered the plum layer onto some kraft paper and then attached that to my folded plum card. Badda bing, badda boom as they say!

Thanks so much for stopping by - and good luck!!!

Sue

Fabulous, Sue! Both of these are wonderful and I love the fall colors against the purple backgrounds.
