Vellum adds such an elegant, soft touch to cards and the ways to use it are endless.
For this Window of Sympathy card, the image is stamped on both the front and back of the vellum window, giving the image a soft, 3-D effect:
Supplies used: Stamps H1011, H881, B262, Textured Lovely Lilac cardstock, vellum, SU markers, Versamark, Versafine black ink, white detail EP.
Irish Christmas showcases one version of the Stained Glass technique. It features an image embossed on the front of the panel and colored in with markers on the back side, softening the colors and enhancing the details:Supplies used: Stamps L1007, D049, Textured black and So Saffron cardstock, vellum, Versamark ink, SU markers, black and white EP, Nestabilities, green satin ribbon.
Similiar to the above technique, this image was also embossed, but then trimmed to create a unique embellishment on this Challenging Butterfly card:

What beautiful creations you've shown with vellum!! :)
all of your cards are so pretty! I love using vellum as background layers, they don't add so much bulk and I like the transparent quality, such a soft look!
