One last treat...

>> Thursday, October 30, 2008

... before the I have to put up my Halloween Stamps til next year!

I made this darling little treat bag using my one of my

favorite DRS Halloween stamps, 2 square coasters and a small paper bag.

I stamped the image and colored it with copic markers and used gel pens to add glitter and dots. Then I used a scallop edge punch and added the candy corn edge stamp also from DRS. These edge stamps are great as they come in sets of 2 and can be used for more than just the edges of cards or images as shown here. You can use them along the edge of an envelope to dress it up, or stamp it on paper to make a background... or even color only one image with a marker and have just one image instead of the whole line. I love getting more than just one use out of a stamp!

I colored the edges of the coaster black with a marker and then I added black cardstock. I layered the rest of my papers and added my image panel to the front. I punched out some pumpkins for some flair and fun. I used the crop-a-dile to make holes for the eyelets and

Ran ribbon through to make the handles.

Then for the finishing touch... CANDY CORN!!!

I put it in the little bag and tied some fun ribbon on it!

I hope you all have a Happy Halloween and just remember,

DON'T eat leftover candy corn for breakfast...
