Simple Halloween

>> Friday, September 19, 2008

With Halloween just around the corner (can you believe the holidays are on their way already?!) I wanted to share some simple cards that I made using some of the new Halloween stamps that are now on sale at the DRS Designs website. Who says simple has to be boring???

This card has a lot of layers but is as simple as I get lol! This card was super easy and quick to make. I love the dramatic effect of the stamped gobblin ghosts in the background and the one single in the front.
Stamps: Stamps- DRS Designs. Paper- Tangerine tango, white, black. Ink- pumpkin pie, black stazon. Accessories- copic markers, dimensionals, scallop corner punch.

I love this new witch stamp, isn't it hilarious? Looking at this card reminds me that I should have colored those shoes to make ruby slippers!
Supplies: Stamps- DRS Designs. Paper- Kiwi kiss, black, white. Ink- black stazon, old olive. Accessories- scallop corner punch, brads, dimensionals
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and make sure that you take the time to stamp something!

Fun 'quick' cards! They definitely show that less can be more because the image really pops without a bunch of competition from a busy color combo or lots of embellishments. Great job!
