I embellished this card using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, some pink and white grosgrain ribbon, a decorative border punch, and 3 rhinestones that I colored with a purple Copic Marker to match! ;-)

Welcome!
I decided to walk on the wild side and went a different color route with this Valentine!
I stamped most of a black piece of cs with our Interlocking Stars using gold pigment ink an embossed them using gold powder. The ribbon was a scrap that came wrapped on ??? and I folded it in 3rds to give it lots of pop! I stamped the top 2 lines only of our new To the Moon stamp (again using gold ink and gold ep) and finished off the outside by punching out a silver circle, then putting the circle back into the same punch and punching it in half to give me the quarter moon shape.
For the inside I stamped a white piece of cs across the top using the same Interlocking Star bg and blue ink and colored in a few using a gold paint pen and a few using a silver paint pen. To finish it off I stamped the last line of our new To the Moon saying and added the exclamation point using a gold paint pen.

I made a double bow using two ribbons and attached it. After layering it onto a teal panel, everything is attached to a 4.25 x 5.5 white card. I added some stickles to the embossed snowflakes for some extra sparkle.
It's Thursday again and I have another fabulous creation, using the newly released stamps from DRS Designs. For today's card I have definitely gone Pink! I have used (597G) Girl Swirl Heart and Happy Valentine's (603C) sentiment. I embossed the hearts with white embossing powder to really make them stand out. I punched out a center heart and let the sentiment show through. I added some flower ribbon and a hear border punch.

Hi There!!! Me again! Hope you had a good week since we met up last. I have a pair of simple cards for you today. I think every once in while we all need to step back and just go with the easy approach. I know its hard not to use all the wonderful supplies out there, but sometimes you just need to let your stamped images do the talking.
I used the same three flowers with butterfly image on these cards...changing up the sentiments based on the occasion for which the card is being sent.
Sympathy:
Sending a smile/Get Well:
Both of these cards will be put to use :(. Sometimes its great to make up a bunch of simple cards like this so you have them ready to go when you need them. The flowers on both are raised on pop dots. The butterfly was stamped on the card and then on a scrap and adhered with a pop dot.
Thanks for checking in...
See you soon..

Do you like FREE STUFF??? Do you like to STAMP??? Well, when you put those 2 things together you get a great blog like Tuesday Morning Sketches! To make it even better DRS Designs is sponsoring them this week! Pop on over and read up on all the rules and regs and then...get stamping! You only have until 8pm this evening and you could be the winner!
The theme for the week is "Heavy Metal" and I played along with this clean and simple card~
I stamped our Vertical Get Well using brown ink and layered it on the Ivory textured paper. To make the medallion was a bit of a struggle at first. The tabs on the leaf are not in the center and I was having problems with centering it, till I punched a small hold in a small square of paper, put it into my punch (upside down) then put the leaf in place and centered and punched it. There is a light background on the circle that I made using Vicki's Versatile Background and Taupe ink that I stamped off twice on scrap paper.
The metal leaf is from a box of paper fasteners I saw several years ago while out of town. Being the leaf fanatic that I am I grabbed a box, and found out later that they were "on sale". Well, didn't I have to go back the next day and buy more. The funny part??? This is the first one I've used!

Happy Friday!
The pink layer was stamped all over with the interlocking heart bg using rose chalk ink. After adding a turquoise layer, I attached it all to a white 4.25 x 5.5 card.
Happy Thursday! I love Thursdays. It is close to the weekend and the work week is almost over. Even though i do love my job, it is nice to have a couple of days to recoup. Today I have a card for you using the newly released Filigree Heart (599E) and the Giga Heart Circle (273L) from DRS Designs. DRS is sponsoring the Tuesday Morning Sketches "Heavy Metal" challenge, use metal embellishments on your project. DRS is giving away a $10 store voucher. Happy Wednesday, Cathy here again. Did you know that DRS Designs is sponsoring the weekly challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches? This week's challenge is to use metal on your card.
Here is mine...

This new sentiment is so versatile. It's great for Valentines Day or Anniversary, birthday, a simple I love you card, or even a card for a child. I added a paper flower from a K & Co pad I found at Target. A new Cuttle bug embossing folder, ribbon, a jewel, a button and twine finished things off.
Participate in the challenge by posting a card over at TMS, that qualifies, and be entered to win a gift certificate from DRS!

Welcome!
I'm not sure how the western half of this country is doing snow-wise, but we've certainly had our fair share here in the east! And even though we already have more than 2 feet on the ground, I'm looking forward to even more! So to Mother Nature I say "Bring it On!!!"
I started my card by stamping our new Let it Snow Penguins on 2 pieces of white cs once using black ink and the 2nd using cyan ink. I embossed both using clear powder. After coloring the 3 little penguins on the black one, I used a 1" circle punch, and adhered them to the blue version. I then stamped our 4 in 1 Snowflakes around the edges using turquoise ink, added my layers and last but not least, added a little bit of bling to the center of the darker snowflakes and dotted the center of the others using a glitter pen.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Keep your fingers crossed that we see a little more white stuff soon!!

A pale pink marker was used to trace the heart image and underline the greeting. I used a ribbon punch on the plaid, threaded the ribbon through and tied it. All the layers have the dk rose backing and the finished card measures 4.25 x 5.5.
Hi There - it's Wednesday again and that means its time for me, Cathy, to post!!! I hope your week and winter are off to a great start! Here is my card, in preparation of the next big holiday coming up, images by DRS Designs...
Don't you just love this new Cupig image by DRS?! How cute and fun...the sentiment is a perfect addition. I used the new filigree heart on the blue panel as a background image. A couple of embossing folders and a jewel completed the look. Oh, and I can't forget Cupigs wings. I stamped Cupig twice and cut out a separate set of wings, added some glitter and then added them to the card with pop dots.

Welcome!
Here's a bit of fun for you using our original plaid stamp!
I started by stamping white card stock horizontally with turquoise dye ink, and
vertically with green dye ink. I did a second piece with pink and lavender inks, and a third piece with turquoise and lavender inks.
Next I cut each piece down to 3 squares (approx 1 1/2" squares each) and layered them on a 5" square of black card stock, and attached that to a 5 1/4" square folded blue card.

The big Frosty was colored, cut out and layered onto a snowflake embossed oval. A few die cut snowflakes were added behind him. The greeting was also die cut w/ a tag die. I used a glue pen to dot all the snowflakes, buttons, and capital letter then sprinkled on some transparent glitter.
Hi there, Cathy here...
I thought I would share an "altered project" with you today. This week DRS Designs is sponsoring a challenge over on the Top Tip Tuesday blog. Head on over and check them out...you could win some stamping money from some DRS Designs stamps!!! Thats my kind of prize!
and a view of the tag...
I stamped the filigree heart on vellum and colored the back with a red copic marker. I then colored the little tear drops with my Sakura stardust pen.
The tag was stamped with the same image as you can see, in its entirety. I added a tag with the new I Love You sentiment. The pail came from the Target $1 spot (not this year, but maybe they are available again?) I'm trying to stay away from there, so I really don't know. ;)
I tried to take a photo of the pail while it was lit...with a battery operated tealight, but it didn't work.
I hope you'll try out the challenge. I'm sure we all have some tins of some sort that are in need of altering!!!!
Thanks for checking in...
See you soon...
