You Have a Special Place

Hi Everyone,
DRS Designs has released the Special Place in My Heart Greeting for this Valentine's Day, and I decided to let this sweet sentiment shine on my card today. I simply embossed the background and added some punched heart embellishments along with a matching ribbon, and called it done.
This was going to be a happy new year card, but my sister-in-law has a January birthday, so I thought this would be fitting with a happy birthday stamped inside. It's pretty self-explanatory, the only thing you can't see from the photo is the heat embossing I did on each stamped piece.

Very lovely heart card. Love the use of the punched hearts. I have a ton of little punched hearts that I am always looking for ways to add to cards. This is a great inspiration for some. I really love the blue wishing you the best year ever. Love blue and white cards and the images and layout work so well on your card.
Love your backgrounds! The Heart embossing folder is so cute!!! I keep forgetting to use my cute ones! LOL! The the sentiment layer on this one too. Also the winter one has a wonderful layout. Love the strip of snowflakes to go with those trees.

I also love when someone gets a 2nd use out of an image like on your winter card. Great contrast with the blue and white and I love the little trees in the corner.
