Happy Halloween

>> Tuesday, October 10, 2023

 Hi Everyone,

The jack o lantern that's part of the new Spooky Jack Halloween greeting, reminded me of the one that's part of the Witch Gnome stamp.  So, I went ahead and paired them up on my card today.

For my backgrounds, I stamped, and heat embossed the Empty Spider Webs first, and then stamped and colored up the greeting on my white background paper. I then used the Starry Background and stamped the purple stars, doing my best to avoid getting stars inside the pumpkin image.

I used some circle dies on my gnome and attached him on top of the border that was embellished with a strip of patterned ribbon.

I have my pumpkin ready to be carved, purchased my Halloween candy, and found my cat ear headband that I wear every October 31st, so I'm all ready for the trick or treating!

Thanks for stopping by!

Karin, you always come up with the best ways to make dsp out of our stamps! I want to go make some today instead of working! Love your combination of items and your sketch but, of course, the gnome stills the show. Fabulous card. Hugz

Love your card with the gnome, spider web and that sentiment together and love that ribbon, so amazing!! Oh yeah, and the starry bg is a great idea too! I forget about stuff like that!
Reading all that you have done to be ready for Halloween was fun! I almost bought an Ahsoka costume the other day, it was great but then I came to my senses!! We live at the end of a long dirt road with barely any houses, kids are scared to walk down our road! In the 37 years I've lived in this house we have only had trick-or-treaters 1 time!
LOL!
