Butterflies!

>> Thursday, June 9, 2022

 Good morning!

Hello friends!
Today I went ahead and colored a 5 1/2 X 11 piece of glossy cardstock with different color blocks of ink, I knew I wanted at least 3 butterflies.  I then stamped with VersaMark and embossed with white powder the Filigree Butterfly.
Next, I fussy cut each one and folded the wings back a little (I also colored the opposite side in case it would show from the sides).
My card base is dark purple with a lavender die cut panel on top (Pink Posh).
I used some scrap from the piece of cardstock I colored for the butterflies to stamp the Bithday Blessings greeting and the As Another Year Flies By greeting.  The Another Year was fussy cut while the Blessings was die cut with an oval from Rubbernecker.
I attached the butterfly bodies to the card front with 3M foam tape cut to size.
That's it!
Thanks for visiting and go get crafty!!

Robin, I love the colors on this card. That die cut plate is fantastic and the dimension on the butterflies bring this card to life. Super gorgeous!
