Butterflies, Recyling, and Busy Days

Hubby and I are finding we have to have a calendar in order to remember what is going on these days - I know it will only get worse as the 3 Grandsons get older. I have started making us a calendar each month.
For June, I decided to start with some corrugated cardboad that I painted cream. I dipped the new Filigree Butterfly in the same paint and stamped it on kraft. They came out so pretty and make the perfect side framing to the calendar. I plan to make a card with the leftovers, but running low on time right now - I already have most all the blocks filled in this calendar now!
This was a fun project and I got some good recycling in! I plan to dip this image in paint more often too as the look is so pretty and each one comes out so differently.

Absolutely gorgeous calendar. I love that you were able to get some recycling in too. I need to do that more often. I have a few items but I feel there is so much more I could use.

What a wonderful project! I love the creamy white and the texture of the cardboard! Fantastic :)
