Halloween Card Already?

 

My mom asked me to make a Halloween card for her and I could not resist using this SILHOUETTE WITCH CAULDRON - 716K for her card. She used to dress up as a witch for a haunted house and this image is just perfect for a Halloween card for her.

• I stamped the SILHOUETTE WITCH CAULDRON - 716K and the BATTY HAPPY HALLOWEEN - 548G at the same time so I could make sure they fit on the space of the card front.
• Next, I reverse masked the moon and filled in the yellows, orange and red for the moon sponging distress oxides and blending.
• I then removed the reverse mask and masked the moon yellow. I then sponged red, pink, purples, navy and black for the rest of the scene.
• Once the rest of the scene was colored, I removed the moon mask and blended more yellow over the red/pink to blend the moon glow.
• I then spritzed the card front with a tad bit of water and used a paper towel to quickly soak up the water.

I love how this came out and plan on making a few more to add to my collection for when I need a Halloween card.
