Shamrocks

Hi Everyone,
Did you have a happy Valentine's Day? After more than 30 years of marriage, we don't really celebrate specifically, but we did some small things over the weekend. I purchased us a box of heart shaped caramel chocolates, we had pizza on Saturday night, I exchanged valentine cards with one of my bestie's from high school, and we had a homemade steak dinner before the Super Bowl. That seems like enough celebration for us old folks...lol!
Anyway, on to a St. Patrick's card for me!
This starts with a pro tip. Whenever you make a card, always stamp an extra sentiment or image and save it. That way it's super easy to make a card in that theme the next time you need it! Do I always do this? No. However, when I come across stamped images and sentiments when I did do this, I'm so glad!
Here I die cut the stamped Blessings Outnumber Greeting, along with colored Everything Irish image that colored and fussy cut.

Great tip, Karin, I am going to start doing this extra stamping.
Very fun card with all that shamrocks and wonderfully colored background. Wishing you tons of luck.
We didn't really do anything for Valentine's either - a bit of candy, presents to our children and grandchildren and, of course, we exchanged cards.

Great tip. That would be a time saver. I love how you used this cute image and great layout too. The sanding off on the base layer is great to really show off the embossing too. Super cute card.
For Valentine's I dropped off some candy to my boy and then hubby and I had a quiet dinner at home. We never go out to eat or order out on Valentine's day as it is not great service when so many others are also out that evening. So we do a night out when it is not so busy to get better service. :)
Such a cute card Karin! I love the drama of the black embossed background! Great tip too - it would be awesome to already have the sentiment stamped and waiting to be used!
This got past me! This is so beautiful, love the sanded background shamrocks and your images are perfect! Love it!
