Christmas Traditional or Nontraditional...

This Small Nativity Scene - 696D pairs perfectly with the new Jesus is the Reason Greeting - 893F.

For my card I stamped the Small Nativity Scene on craft card stock and colored with pencils. I then tore the edge and sponged the edge with brown ink.

For the blue base I heat embossed the Jesus is the Reason Greeting in white and then added some additional stars using a white gel pen.

I have a second card this week using nontraditional colors for a fun Christmas card.

I just love this new PLAID FIR TREE - 971H.

I stamped the tree twice in a bright pink and once in a subtle pink and fussy cut them. For the base layer I added a texture to mimic the plaid and match the bright pink. I then stamped the sentiment in the bright pink and layered the trees and sentiment using dimensionals.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my cards this week.

These cards are both wonderful! I love the torn paper and deep blue paper paired up to create this beautiful scene! And the pink trees on the second card so cute and fun! That embossed background looks amazing too!

All I can think is WOWZER Lisa! I love both of these cards! Your Nativity card is just SO impressive in all it's simplicity. The torn paper and bold blue and white sky are real attention grabbers. Love the pretty pink trees too with that great textured background.
