Shamrocks O'Plenty

Ever feel super lazy when making cards or crafting? That so happened to me this week! I wanted to use this fabulous new Shamrock of Shamrocks image, but coloring in the shamrocks was going to take a bit more time and energy than I was feeling... so I took some aluminum foil, swiped on some inks, misted with some water and dipped in the paper. After it dried, I stamped the shamrock.
My original plan was to do a circle for the card top with the shamrock inside (like THIS great card) but the shamrock was too large. I ended up fussy cutting it and popping it up. I used the leftover paper for my card bases and added in a portion of the other shamrock I stamped). The greeting is the new Blessings on St. Patrick's Day Greeting.
I splattered on some gold paint before assembling. Super easy and super fast card.

I can’t believe you fussy cut this large shamrock image. I’m pretty certain that would have taken me a long time to do! You are the fussy cutting queen!! Cute card, Nancy. I like that background with the splatters of god. Very pretty & festive.
Really amazing Nancy! Love it and can't believe how much fussy cutting you did, wow! You are definitely the queen of fussy cutting my friend! Your bg is beautiful too, love all the pretty greens! Beautiful card! OMGosh, I just read Shelia's comment, Ha! We both think you are the queen of fussy cutting!!! Proves it must be so!
Beautiful Nancy! And a great coloring cheat :) You've got so much color, I don't know if I would have recognized that it was actually "colored" :)
This is wonderful, Nancy! Love the colors & the way you didn't color the shamrock. The splatters & inks are such a great look on your fab bg.
This is a wonderful St. Patrick’s day card! I love that big shamrock and the green splashes!
Nancy I am blown away at this gorgeous use of the clover of clovers. Gorgeous St Patrick's day card.
