Hello Crafty Friends!
New Images are coming in the store this weekend! I have a sneak peak at two of them on my card: Arched Window and St. Patrick's Pot of Gold.
I am thrilled to see this new Arched Window - I see so many possibilities with it! I am working on a very cool Art Journal page with it and I am loving how it is turning out. I love how this card turned out as well.
I stamped both images and colored them up with some water colors. Then I added in a little road way and some bricks. I know my card looks nothing like it, but the bricks were inspired by THIS fun picture of an Irish cottage. Home is where everyone's pot of gold really is!
We actually had a little snow the other day. It melted before it got to the ground, but we celebrated it anyway! The little bit of snow inspired this card. This card was also inspired by Jen Guarino's card HERE. Jen is the Featured Stamper on SCS, and I couldn't resist making a card with our new Skating Snowman and It's Freezin' Season Greeting.
I painted up the background with Dina Wakley Acrylic paints, dipped the DRS Designs Polka Dot Background in some white gesso, and stamped it on. Next, I texured up the tag with some Distress Crackle Medium, dried it, then stamped on a bit of the Script Font Background and the Snow Background.

Nancy, your St Patty’s Day scene with the arched window & pot of gold is fantastic! The brick background looks great with the window image. Your winter card is too cute. That purple scarf on the snowman really pops. Great cards!

I love the English cottage vibe on your window card and it pairs beautifully with the pot of gold! Fun snowman card too! Such bright, happy colors :)
