Art Journaling - Shutters, Script, Toads and Boys

>> Wednesday, February 24, 2021

Hello Crafty Friends.

I have some Art Journal Pages using some fun DRS Designs stamps and some adorable pictures of my Grandsons.

I sprayed my pages with three Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays and let them dry.  Then I stenciled in some circles and chicken wire using Distress Ink in Black Soot.  Next, I added in my favorite Script Font Background all over the pages in Close To My Heart Inktense Black Ink.
Next, came my fun pictures of Christmas and Disney (off my Daughter's Facebook pages, of course).  The new Arched Window made a fun frame for the Christmas pictures so I colored it up red.
I used the new toad from the Toad Made for You Recognition Stamp to add a bit more cuteness to the right side of my spread.
I finished it of with the Sun Shine on You Greeting.  We all are looking for a little more sunshine these days.

Art Journaling gives you a whole new way to used your stamps and when you combine it with pictures, you are capturing memories as well.

Hope the rest of your week is wonderful! Thanks for visiting!

Hugz,

Nancy

Nancy, your journaling pages are precious! Your background looks perfect, the pictures & sentiment really pop on it. Good use of those shutters too. Never thought to just use the shutters, so clever! I like the sentiment too. You are right, I’m definitely longing for some sunshine! 😊

Great background Nancy. I am going to have to check out the new Dina Wakley gloss sprays. They look terrific. I love that you added the shutters to your images and that frog looks at home on the page too.
