Dancing Boots

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! I guess the folks in Louisiana are in for another hurricane. It's looking like the US just can't catch a break this year. If we could figure out a way to dump all the rain that's coming onto CA, it might put the fires out.
For my card, I've had this idea for a while & finally decided to see if it would work. After stamping the left boot, I penciled in the leg & masked both before stamping the right boot. Then I drew in the leg & bottom of the skirt. After coloring it, I used one of the gray Copics to edge it. For the white panel, I die cut it then used a couple of long strip dies to make the vertical border. A word window punch was used for the partial greeting.
Here are the Copics I used & also the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Supplies:
stamps: DRS Designs – 4 in 1 Cowboy Gear, Western Word Square (inside: Saddle Up Greeting, Cowgirl Line Dancer, River Rocks Fence Line )
paper: Staples 110# white, dk grey
ink: Memento tuxedo black
accesories: Rubbernecker Circle Stitch dies, Copic Sketch Markers, Wonky Stitched Rectangles dies, Blueprints 18 dies, word window punch

What an incredible idea Julie! Amazing what a few extra lines in just the right place can do! Absolutely love the die cut border you created as well! Now I have to go shopping for some strip dies ;)
