Snow Globe

>> Monday, September 28, 2020

Happy Monday! Can you believe it's getting close to the end of September?!! Christmas will be here before you know it. So with that in mind I have a Snow Globe Christmas card to share with you today. It features the new Mountain and Tree 2 in 1 Scene builder image (045P).

I started with some water color paper, stamped the Village Church, masked it and then stamped the tree with Memento Bamboo ink and then the mountains with Archival Black ink. I used Nuvo Aqua Pens to color the mountains and sky, copics for the church and snow lines, which were stamped with the snow, sand, water lines image. Once the images were dry, I used VersaMark ink to stamp the starry background in the sky and heat embossed with white EP. I wanted the mountains to look like they had snow on them so I used a white Pitt Artist pen to create the snow. I used a Tim Holtz snow globe die to cut out the scene and the base part, then using the same die I cut out the card base and glued the pieces in place. Merry Christmas was stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white EP, Some punched snowflakes and rhinestones complete the look.
Thanks for stopping by!
blessings,
shelia
