Thanksgiving Mountain and Lake Scene

>> Saturday, August 29, 2020

 Welcome!

Been a long time, right?  Too long if you ask me!  I'm just so pleased with our new images that I HAD to sit down and stamp.  Mother Nature even cooperated and handed me a rainy Sunday to make sure I got to stamp all day long :)

I'm going to warn you that most of the stamps on my card to today won't be available for purchase until September 5, but that will be here before you know it!

I'm most excited about our new background images.  We're coming out with 2 new images, but each stamp actually has 2 separate images on it, giving you 3 options per stamp.  Sadly I can't do the math of how many combinations you can get when you use both stamps together :)

Our first new combo background image is Mountains and Trees

as you can see there's plenty of room to ink each image individually.

Our second new background image is a Fence and Water's Edge w/Rocks combo

Both of these stamps are a full 6 inches from left to right and my card today uses 3 out of the 4 images on the 2 stamps.

I started my card by inking the mountains in black and the trees in vintage green and stamping them towards the top of my card.  Next I inked up just the rocks from the 2nd image in black ink and stamped it towards the bottom.  I made masks of all three images so I could sponge on my sky, mountain, lake and grass.  I stamped our "soon to be released" Sunflower Bucket on a separate scrap of card stock and colored and fussy cut it and attached it to my scene.  I added our Give Thanks greeting and layered it on black and then on a folded yellow card.

Thanks so much for visiting!  Come back often and see more cards using our newest designs!
