Scary, Scary Scenes

>> Wednesday, August 19, 2020

I have two scary treats for you today - one is my card and one is my messy kitchen.  I had to share the kitchen with you as this card is so long and my elementary editing/picture taking skills required it - lol.

I really like the slimline cards everyone has been doing so I thought I would try one.  I started  by sponging my main panel with DOX ink and then splattering on some water.  I then sponged Black Soot DI on the edges, next I stamped the the Spirit of HalloweenLong Tall Wheat and the Empty Spider Web.   I added in some Tim Holtz Halloween dies - the spider, ghost, broom, and hat.

But, I see my seriously messy kitchen is much scarier.  Note to self:  at least put the bread in the bread basket before taking pictures!

Hope your week is going well!!

Hugz,

Nancy

Oh this is a great spooky slim line card! Those die cuts look awesome with your background & this greeting! And I don’t think your kitchen looks all that messy. You should see mine! 😉

What a great Halloween card Nancy! Excellent background and I LOVE those wheat stalks along the bottom - amazing what two little stampings can do :)
And not to brag....but I'm guessing I can win the messy kitchen contest any day. With 3 (teenage or younger) boys home alone all day, I'd throw a party if it looked like yours when I got home :)

I need to get on this skinny card trend, because this looks amazing! I love the wheat/tan color you have happening and that witchy ghost is super cute! Love it!
