Gnome Home

Good morning!
This little guy was lucky to find this big Redwood tree that had hollowed out because of a lightning started fire in it...it made it much easier to hollow out the rest of the way to make a nice Gnome Home. He and his Gnome buddies cut down the tree and there you go.
The background was sponged with Distress Oxide Ink.
The die cuts are from Memory Box and I.O.
It took quite a bit of masking and stamp aligning to do the whole bottom portion
then I cut the bottom out so that I could glue it over the background.
I used DRS Designs stamps: Peeking Gnome, Sending You Sunshine, Mushroom Line, Toadstools, Snail Toadstool, Ladybug Toadstool, and Tree Slice Wood grain.
My next card started out to be a Halloween card but my Peeking Gnome ended up looking like he was IN the pot not peeking at what was inside so I changed my mind...didn't want the poor guy cooked in a witches brew!!! So his friends are just keep his water the right temperature for hot tubbing!
My Hot tubbing sentiment is computer generated since I don't think the Gnomes have ever landed in hot water before!!! My background was done with Distress Oxides again but this time I patted some color on a kraft sheet then sprayed it with water and dipped my watercolor paper into it.
The dies are from Lawn Fawn, MFT's and Memory Box.
Thanks for visiting today!!

Robin, these gnome cards are fabulous! This first one is such a happy scene, I really like the window in the wood slice. That second card made me chuckle out loud! Too funny with the gnome hot tubbing it!
What fun and colorful cards Robin! I really have to get moving on the outdoor window stamp cause I'm loving yours!
Your hot tub gnome is just cracking me up :) I love that you switched gears mid card! Too cute!
How sweet! That gnome peeking out is so cute! I love the little window on the first, but the hot tub one is over the top! Lol! Great coloring as usual!
I hope Sue really does come up with the outdoor window stamp - it is darling! The scene you created on that first card is soooo amazing! I love your awesome coloring and combining. Wow. So impressive and so well done. Your hot tub gnome is fab. These are brilliant, Robin. they make me wish I had better coloring skills. I need to get my gnome stamps out! Fun. Hugz
These are so fun & so colorful, Robin! Love the window in the tree slice & the forest behind him is awesome. I'm really glad that second gnome isn't getting cooked, lol. I was a bit worried about him.
