Frightful Halloween

Hi Everyone,
I had so much fun stamping with these new Halloween stamps. I think I say this every year when making cards for the fall season, but it is my favorite time to make cards! Thoughts of cooler weather, the rich colors, the sun setting sooner and the candy treats are some of the things that make me look forward to the coming months.
I started this card knowing I wanted to use the Silhouette Halloween 3 in 1 Tree, so I sponged a purple background, masking a spot for the moon. Along with the new tree stamp, I used the
Spooky Tree Limb and the Accent Bats to fill out the scene.
The new Frightful & Delightful Halloween Greeting, along with the glitter embellished
Leaning Ghost, was stamped and added with some dimensional foam tape.

For my second card, I began by stamping the Moonlight & Magic Halloween Greeting, embellishing it by stamping the witch from the 4 in 1 Halloween Silhouettes, in the moon. Playing off the shape of the moon, I used a circle die cut and matted it in yellow and added some blue sponging for the sky.
For the background, I used the Splatter Background stamp and added two strips of black and gold glitter.

Wonderful Halloween cards, Karin. I really like how you masked a place for your moon on the first card. I’ve used that new tree image on several cards & never thought to place the moon behind it. And it looks perfect there!! Your second card has a cool layout with those strips of glitter!
Perfect Halloween cards Karin! It's really all about the moons for me :) Your tree scene is amazing and adding the giant moon behind the Halloween tree was a stroke of genius. I did a double take on the witch in the moon on the 2nd card. For a second or two I thought that was part of the image. She looks so perfect there I'm kinda wishing is was!
Karin, two fab cards! We had similar thinking on your first one as my card today is very close. I didn't have your fabulous moon though - love yours way better! The magic one is really fun! Love how you did it. Feels like magic for sure. Hugz
These are super, Karin! Love your blue/violet bg for your ghost & all the little bats. Your flying witch card is wonderful. Love the splatter bg.

Your second card is so colorful, I love it with that boost of yellow!
Love how you popped that sentiment up front and center and added that witch image. Super card.
