A Bunny in My Bible!

I have been doing a lot of Bible Journaling lately and late Sunday I got the idea for this page.
It is based on Psalms 36:5 where David describes God's faithfulness as reaching the clouds. I am so thankful for this as faithfulness is sorely lacking in the world.
I page-prepped the back ground with gesso and then did a mix of green inks done with the ink/spray/smash technique. I pounced on some white acrylic paint to soften it up. After it all dried, I stamped one of the Four Flower BackGround images on the bottom a bunch of times. Next came the die cut bunny and the Give Thanks from the Give Thanks Bible Verse stamp. The clouds were all done using texture paste and a stencil.

Nancy, this is a beautiful Bible journaling page & it highlights such a wonderful verse too. The background is so soothing & the dimension on those clouds really catches the eye. The bunny playing is a good reminder of our freedom in Christ. We have nothing to worry about. He is faithful! I’ve been studying the Psalms at my ladies Bible study. I think I’ll bring this & show it to them!

What a wonderful Bible page! It really is a lovely way to meditate on God's word in a creative way :) I love all the greens and you found a way to bring your signature texture to this project as well! Amazing!
