Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! We've been having some cold, wet weather around here. Feb has turned out to be a lot colder than Jan. Two weeks ago, we had around 5" of snow. Last week about an inch, then a dusting again this morning. When it isn't snowing, it's a cold rain. My rain boots & waterproof boots are really getting a work out this month. I think we're around 10" over the average for Feb.

I have a fairly quick card today. I made a few of these backgrounds last year where I sprayed the inside of an embossing folder w/ shimmer inks then closed the folder onto the white card stock. This one just had the color in areas so I thought it would look good w/ the flower puffs on top. I stamped the entire image a couple of times & a partial image a few times in black then embossed them w/ a clear ep that has gold flecks in it.  (Easier to see on the closeup below.) I used a marker to color just one little branch thingie & stamped those around to resemble a dandelion blowing away.
The greeting was embossed on another white strip & added across the bottom.

Here's the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

This is such a cute card! I like the soft colors behind the flowers, especially with the individual pieces flying around! Never thought to use a marker to color just one! I may have to try this. Super cute card, Julie!

Super cool mixed media bg, Julie. Love the designs all around on this one. The dandelions are wonderful against it too. Wow Beautiful card. Hugz

What a clever card Julie - in so many ways!! Love that you colored the background and stamped the puffs all the same black, as well as how you only stamped parts of the puff making it look like a different image. Your single puffs blowing in the wind are the perfect finish!
