Bird Stripes

 Happy Friday!

I hope your week has gone well! Has spring sprung where you live? We're getting there..slowly but surely. We have a few days w/ temps in the upper 60's then colder, then 60's again. I can feel Spring trying, but Winter still wants to hang on by her fingernails.  I have a silly card today. It's been brewing in my head for awhile then a couple of challenges on Splitcoast helped it fully form.

The colorful bg is acrylic block stamping. I took the melon colored rainbow ink pad & swiped across an acrylic block, misted it w/ water then stamped it onto white c/s.  I thought it needed a little contrast, so I added a narrow black frame, then used my Misti to stamp the solid branch a few times. The greeting is a put together mix of 2 greetings. I already knew I had to use the Butt is Big part, I just had to hunt around until I found the "stripes" part, then do a little creative masking for "do these" part. 

For the silly bird image, I drew the stripes then colored & fussy cut. Since this bird looks pretty rotund to me, I thought the greeting fit. I also contend his/her butt makes him/her look big..not the stripes, lol.
