Wintry Ride

>> Wednesday, September 5, 2018

Do songs inspire you?  Songs and sermons seem to really inspire me when I do Bible Journaling, but the other day, I heard the Zack Brown Band song "Colder Weather," and I thought it would be fun to do a snowy Western card. The first image that popped in my head was the Cowboy Silhouette image.

I stamped the image on some blue paper and then flecked Snowtex (I love that stuff) all over.  For a sentiment, I embossed the Warm Wishes Greeting on some black paper.

I love the feel of this card, and I am so looking forward to some colder weather (but I don't want to be stuck in it like the song or riding a horse in it like the image - lol).

Hugz,

Nancy

Love this wintery scene with your cowboys riding through the snow! That snow looks so real! I too am ready for some cooler weather! Even snow! 😊❄️❄️

My first glance at your card today brought to mind an old Jim Reeves song about a cowboy trying to get home in a snow storm and then I started reading your post... you nailed it!!!
